I stayed for three nights in the Superior Double Room. The hotel felt clean and well-maintained. I loved the comfy bed and spacious layout for Parisian standards. The staff always greeted me with a smile and provided quick assistance whenever needed. Breakfast offered tasty croissants and fresh fruit. The location made it easy to explore with many restaurants nearby. The only downside was the lack of a shower curtain, which left the floor slippery after showers. There were no safety locks on the windows, worrying when my little one was around. The experience made up for these minor inconveniences.

The location was good - near the metro, shops and restaurants.
We chose this hotel particularly because the Rough Guide said it was in a quiet street. But not if you were on the first floor at the front. We could hear loud road noise from Avenue Maine and a nearby bar at the weekend was noisy until early hours. Also we paid for an en suite room but our door was opposite the w.c. - so we could hear that door opening and closing, often very early in the morning (probably woken up by the rubbish collection at 6.30 am!)

I enjoyed the fact that it was in Paris and near the Metro. That's about it.
The rooms were, even by Paris standards, tiny. Especially for two people. We were tripping over each other constantly and there was literally not enough room for one suitcase, let alone two (small) ones. The shower facilities were dismal. It is not mentioned that they are only either on the top or bottom floor, and ridiculously small. The WC was ok.

The wet floor after showering was a small concern, but it was otherwise good.

The location is excellent, in the Montparnasse area very close to metro stop Gaite. It was helpful that it was possible to leave our bags at the hotel as we were leaving late in the evening however this is not in a secure area - just a cupboard in the reception area. The rooms with shared facilities do contain a washbasin, mirror and hairdryer, and towels are provided. There were no problems with noise in the room that I stayed in. I would only reccommend this hotel if you are on a tight budget and want to stay within the central area of Paris.
There is a toilet on each floor but not a shower which is not very convenient - I stayed on the second floor and the nearest shower was on the fourth floor. Given there are around 8 double rooms on each floor I think this is not enough. The showers could also have been better maintained and cleaner.

Recommend for taking strolls
Charming hotel, comfortable room with a lovely modern bathroom, made my stay good, and the friendly staff were quick to assist with any inquiries, all while being just a 10-minute stroll from the nearest metro station.
Entirely happy.

Breakfast was free, incredibly beautiful views, easy location very close to the main train station. We booked a comfort king room, it was brand-new and great modern. The bed was comfortable and a writing desk, tea and coffee were a bonus.

Staff was usually very friendly. The microwave and fridges were very useful for cooking lunch and/or dinner. Good Location
Thin walls, quite noisy. Wouldn't bother paying for a bathroom, we did and were put on the same floor as the communal bath and shower which was right next door and unfortunately could hear the doors of people going in and out slamming all night and quite early in the morning too.
